About PODetc

A division of the Stephens Group, Professional Online Development from the Educational Technology Community (PODetc) was designed to give professional educators the tools they need to utilize technology resources in the classroom setting.

The mission of the Stephens Group is to help school districts make the most of their technology investment by showing them the most up-to-date ways to utilize those tools.  The services of the Stephens Group include face-to-face instruction, data driven instruction, one-to-one computing, information technology planning and their newest service offering – Professional Online Development from the Educational Technology Community (PODetc).

Together, the Stephens Group and PODetc provide the professional educator with an online learning format that will enable them to teach students the technological skills needed to be effective in the 21st  century.  The goal of the service is to address the need for technology literacy within school districts by both faculty and students.  PODetc helps educators increase their technological understanding by offering 24 / 7 asynchronous, technology based coursework to both individuals as well as entire districts.
